Lankota Group observes the following holidays:
- Memorial Day: Closed Monday, May 30th, 2016
- Independence day: Closed Monday, July 4th, 2016
- Labor Day: Closed Monday, September 5th, 2016
- Thanksgiving: Closed Thursday and Friday, November 24th & 25th, 2016
- Christmas: Closed Friday and Monday, December 23rd & 26th, 2016
- New Year's: Friday, December 30th, 2016
You will be paid for these holidays if you:
- All regular full-time employees are paid for eight hours when a holiday falls on Monday through Friday.
- The President of Lankota Group will decide what days are observed for the holidays.
- Should a holiday fall during an employee’s paid time off, such as a vacation, the employee may choose to collect holiday pay vs vacation time. However, the employee will not be compensated for both.
- All employees are eligible for holiday pay during their probationary period.
- Employees assigned to work the holiday will be paid the normal holiday pay.
Any employee that is terminated or resigns forfeits all upcoming holiday pay.
Due to business needs, some employees may be required to work on company holidays. Your supervisor or manager will notify you if this may apply to you.
